While I'm Watching: Crocodile laughs maniacally again. Vivi warns all her comrades about the bomb, and they realise it means both armies will be wiped out. So Zoro proposes finding the cannon. Vivi says the cannoneer is near the palace, even though it means the one who fires it will die. Then some BW agents find Vivi, so Zoro and Sanji defeat them with comical ease. Vivi runs off towards the palace. Crocodile says that even if Luffy can hit him, that doesn't mean he will win. Robin fills Cobra in on who Luffy is. Luffy somehow forgot Crocodile's ability to suck the moisture out of someone. Then he uses some attacks that don't even seem that powerful to hit Crocodile. Crocodile tries to throw away the barrel, so Luffy chugs it. Lol, Crocodile's as frustrated with Luffy as I am. And then Luffy hits Crocodile super hard. Then Robin takes the spikes out of Cobra's arms, and demands he take her to the poneglyph. And she tells Luffy his luck is running out. Crocodile says Robin's full name, and it triggers some kind of reaction in Cobra. So Crocodile then starts destroying the ground and tries to make Luffy fall down in the huge cracks. He says that the ability to suck moisture out of anything is his true power, and that it's limitless. Wow, it even crumbles statues and Luffy's sandals away! Everyone else is frantically searching for the cannon. Usopp seemingly spots it, and Zoro super sprints towards it and gets there in like, 4 seconds. But, it wasn't the right one.Pell is also looking for it from the sky, but even he can't see it.And back to Cobra and Robin. He says she used to be well known, and asks why she would come to Alabasta. Ooh! They run into Tashigi! Tashigi says they wont let Robin go, but Cobra warns her of the bomb. Huh?! Cobra doesn't want the Marines to kill Robin!? Apparently when she was eight she destroyed 6 warships by herself?! That's cool. Tashigi tells all her men to try and stop the bomb, while she fights Robin. Then Robin seemingly one-shots Tashigi. Then Crocodile starts draining Luffy of his moisture.

Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Described as a type of knight or samurai, Homura is a powerful swordswoman who uses swordplay in conjunction with her Ether Gear. She can easily bisect a heat-seeking missile and defeat a large group of armed soldiers by herself with only her sword and the speed of her attacks. Immense Durability: Erza has also proven herself to have a vast amount of physical durability: with the aid of her Adamantine Armor, she was able to take the brunt of the Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter on herself,[46] and then go on to easily defeat Aria, an S-Class Mage,[47] and stand up against Jose Porla, the Phantom Lord Guild Master and a member of the Ten Wizard Saints, after receiving only a very brief amount of time for rest.[48] While clad in her Heaven's Wheel Armor, she was capable of taking on the counter effect of 200 Lacrima orbs from Laxus' Thunder Palace even though the effect of one of the orbs is enough to endanger someone's life.[49] and she was also able to survive the highly-damaging Terra Clamare twice, and still manage to continue to fight and defeat Azuma.[50] When Ultear Milkovich used her Arc of Time to open up Erza's "Second Origin", Erza showed no signs of being bothered at all, unlike her teammates, including Gray Fullbuster, Natsu Dragneel, and Juvia Lockser, who couldn't walk and writhed around on the floor in pain.[51] According to Gray it's probably due to Erza having her "Second Origin" from the start.[52] In addition, during the third day of the Grand Magic Games of X791, Erza was able to fight and defeat 100 powerful monsters, including one which was said to be so powerful that even a Ten Wizard Saint might not be able to defeat it.[53] Despite being heavily injured and bruised, she left the fight without showing any signs of fatigue, something which garnered her praise from hundreds of people, including quite a few powerful Mages.[54] Erza was also able to withstand Minerva's extremely destructive Yagdo Rigora spell with only slight damage.[55] She was also shown to be able to take on Laxus's multiple direct attacks.[56]

Though they were incomplete, they were encouraging to Sidious.[8] According to Darth Sidious' book, The Secrets of the Sith, written later on his life, Plagueis discovered a form of "immortality" through transference, a Force power that allowed the user to transfer his consciousness to another body, essentially using bodies as vessels."[5] This obsession with extending one's own life later passed onto Sidious[7] from his time as[26] Galactic Emperor.[27] Plagueis also attempted to create a Force dyad with Sidious, a unique Force-bond as strong as life itself and which was predecessor to the Rule of Two. However, Plagueis was unable to form the dyad.[5]

However, the secret Sith Lord saw the danger Nute Gunray's capture posed, as the viceroy would not last under the Jedi's questioning. Contacting Darth Tyranus, Sidious was informed by his apprentice that Asajj Ventress could infiltrate the Republic warship, allowing her to rescue or kill Gunray. While Sidious was apprehensive about using an agent who had previously failed them in the past, Tyranus argued that she was a skilled assassin. Ultimately, the master allowed his pupil to proceed in this plan; Ventress successfully rescued Nute Gunray, denying the Jedi and the Republic the opportunity to extract secret information from the Separatist leader, whilst also demonstrating her ability to handle a Star Destroyer's contingent of clone troopers, a Jedi Padawan, and a Jedi Master all at once.[58]

During the Imperial Era, secure in power as Emperor of the galaxy, Sidious pursued his obsession with immortality; he mostly withdrew from the public eye to probe the secrets of the dark side and study his Sith arcana extensively to unlock the ability to live forever. He prepared the ancient Sith world of Exegol, constructing a base of power within the Sith Citadel located on the surface, planning to claim the ancient throne of Sith as his permanent seat of power. His loyal cult following, the Sith Eternal, began to experiment with technology and genetic cloning science to expand his lifespan. Exegol was also home to his most promising experimentations within a vergence of the Force.[8]

However, unbeknownst to the scientist, the Emperor had come to believe that Cylo had grown too powerful as a result of his involvement with the Tarkin Initiative. He could do nothing about it because of the doctor's connection with several of the Empire's greatest scientific minds, and removing him could cause a splint among them. When Cylo presented him his plan, however, Sidious knew that he could cause him to overplay his hand which would make him a traitor to the Empire. Knowing that Vader would be the perfect foil to Cylo's subjects, the Emperor made sure the two men met. The day he informed Vader of his punishment for his failure at the Imperial Palace on Coruscant, he also summoned Cylo for a private meeting. When his apprentice asked who the scientist was, Sidious refused to answer him, leading Vader to conduct his own investigation into the Emperor's secrets.[107][145]

From his secured position[26] as Emperor, Sidious devoted most of his time to study and meditation, often in the ancient Sith shrine situated beneath the Imperial Palace. Wishing to rule his Empire for eternity, Sidious launched numerous inquiries into the topic of immortality. One of the most notorious of these was Project Blackwing; an attempt to unlock the secrets of immortality through Sith alchemy, but the project ended in failure.[205] However, Sidious's true goal was ultimately to discover a way to use the dark side to manipulate reality itself, and with that power, not only achieve what he termed "mere immortality" but acquire the ability to reshape the galaxy and its people to his satisfaction. Whether or not Sidious made any significant progress in obtaining this goal is not known however, as he would have needed Vader's assistance to perform the sorts of rituals he had in mind.[14] During the Imperial Era, Darth Sidious sought to gain access to the World between Worlds in order to control time as well as the universe.[138] Following his first death, Sidious still sought ways to achieve immortality and the preservation of the Sith, as was seen by his attempt to perform a ritual on his granddaughter Rey in order to transfer his spirit into her body, which would allow Sidious to continue the Sith's legacy.[7] 041b061a72
